La primera Feria Internacional de Negocios y el Turismo Gay (Expogay) abrió hoy sus puertas en el Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Torremolinos(España) y se celebrará del 15 al 17 de octubre.
La inauguración contó con la presencia de destacadas personalidades tanto en el mundo político, cultural, moda y artes. La actriz italiana Claudia Cardinale, madrina de esta feria empresarial dirigida especialmente al colectivo gay y lésbico, acompañó al alcalde de Torremolinos, Pedro Fernández Montes, y al presidente del comité organizador del salón, Javier Checa, en el recorrido inaugural de la feria.
La feria ofrece a los expositores 5.500 m2 de área expositiva, en donde empresas españolas e internacionales de diferentes sectores presentarán una amplia gama de productos y servicios exclusivamente para el mercado gay.
La organización de Expogay 2010 espera la asistencia de más de 20.000 visitantes personas, tanto a público gay como general, así como a empresarios y a operadoras de turismo especializadas en este sector de Estados Unidos, Países Bajos, Italia y Francia.
Paralelamente la feria también celebrará el Primer Festival de Cine Gay Costa del Sol un evento para contemplar las proyecciones de películas de temática gay y lésbica más importantes de Europa, América y Asia. Expogay held in Torremolinos
The first International Exhibition and Tourism Business Gay (Expogay) opened today at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Torremolinos (Spain) and will be held from 15 to 17 October.
The inauguration was attended by leading figures in both the political, cultural, fashion and arts. Italian actress Claudia Cardinale, corporate sponsor of this event aimed specifically at the gay and lesbian, accompanied the mayor of Torremolinos, Pedro Fernández Montes, and the president of the organizing committee of the room, Javier Checa, in the inaugural tour of the fair.
The fair offers exhibitors 5,500 m2 of exhibition area, where Spanish and international companies from different sectors present a wide range of products and services exclusively for the gay market.
The organization of Expogay 2010 expected to attend more than 20,000 visitors people, both gay and general public as well as entrepreneurs and tour operators specializing in this sector of the United States, the Netherlands, Italy and France.
Alongside the exhibition will also host the First Gay Film Festival Costa del Sol an event to watch the film screenings of gay and lesbian largest in Europe, America and Asia.
